Whats Happening in The Sex Offender Community

Here is Whats Happening Today
August 15, 2011:

eAdvocate Tidbits
The Community Room is likened to Facebook, both are places where folks meet friends and discuss things of importance to their daily lives. The real difference is, Facebook does not want former sex offenders on its site. The Community Room welcomes former offenders and their families; and you do not have to signin, no membership required, everything in the Community Room is FREE, no strings attached.

Here, even the hard issues are covered, and you will find links to every known Advocate site in the nation. If we miss one please let us know. Given that most Advocates are fighting hard issues with their state lawmakers, the Community Room is available to help Advocates with questions dealing with the daily lives of folks all across the nation.

So stop in and look around, and please pass our link to everyone you know, post it in forums and news articles. Help get the word around, former offenders are welcomed in the Community Room. And, if you have any question, simply e-mail eAdvocate@gmail and a response will be forthcoming.

So, for now have a GREAT day and a BETTER tomorrow.

Search and email remain the top online activities:
A May 2011 Pew Internet survey finds that 92% of online adults use search engines to find information on the Web, including 59% who do so on a typical day. This places search at the top of the list of most popular online activities among U.S. adults. But it is not alone at the top. Among online adults, 92% use email, with 61% using it on an average day.

Since the Pew Internet Project began measuring adults’ online activities in the last decade, these two behaviors have consistently ranked as the most popular.1 Even as early as 2002, more than eight in ten online adults were using search engines, and more than nine in ten online adults were emailing. The table below shows how these two activities compare over time to some other popular online activities.
