The Support Hotline - A Live Person
The Registrants & Families Support Hotline (Live People) is a combined W.A.R. / SOSEN / RSOL volunteer project staffed by private citizens, not professionals or attorneys. These are folks who are very concerned about the harm caused by today's laws governing registrants but also negatively impact families and children of former offenders and the next generation of these folks.

The goal of the support line is multi-faceted; listen to what a registrant and/or family is going through and maybe that empathetic hear is all we will be able to provide, advise of housing and employment resources as they become available to us, help caller to understand the various groups and their goals and objectives, direct them a state advocacy group, or other appropriate source, and lastly educate and engage them in advocacy as that is the only way the laws are going to change.

The Hotline will do whatever it can, but folks need to recognize, many hands are tied until laws are changed. Advocates are trying to effect change nationally.

The Hotline number is: 1-800-773-4319 or you can e-mail them at
hotline@thesupporthotline.org They will return your call or email within 6 hours.

Volunteers man the Hotline during the following hours (EST Zone):
Sunday: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Monday: 10:00am to 6:00pm
Tuesday: 10:00am to 8:00pm
